InnoAid is working with strong local partners in all our projects including both non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and universities.

INDIA

The InnoAid projects in India are currently focussed in the state of West Bengal where we are working with a strong primary partner organization involved in several of our projects along with some smaller secondary partners.

Joygopalpur Gram Vikash Kendra (JGVK)

Ever since 2008 the NGO JGVK has been an important partner of InnoAid working with us to improve the local conditions of the inhabitants of West Bengal. JGVK is the primary partner in the Street Food Vendors’ Toolkit project and the Bengali Rural Ambulance project.

Gana Unnayan Parshad (GUP)

The NGO has been working with InnoAid on the streets of Kolkata as secondary partner in the Street Food Vendors’ Toolkit project since 2010.

Sabuj Sangha (SS)

The NGO has been working with InnoAid on the streets of Kolkata as secondary partner in the Street Food Vendors’ Toolkit project since 2010.

NEPAL

In Nepal InnoAid is working with local organisations, universities, as well government programs. Our primary partners are:

Resource Management & Rural Empowerment Centre (REMREC)

Starting in 2011 the NGO REMREC is the primary partner on the Healthy Rural Kitchen Environments project. Amongst others, REMREC is working closely together with the governmental Energy Sector Assistance Program (ESAP) and Kathmandu University on an Improved Cook Stove program.

Kathmandu University, Department of Mechanical Engineering (KU)

InnoAid has a collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel in relation to the technical aspects of the Healthy Rural Kitchen Environments project.

ITALY

University of Bologna, Department of Political and Social Sciences

Collaboration with students and professors from the Master Programme International Co-Operation, Development and Human Rights to work on challenges related to the Street Food Project.

Politechnico di Milano, Department of Industrial Design, Arts, Communication and Fashion

Collaboration with students and professors from the research line Design and Innovation for Sustainability (DIS) to work on challenges related to the Bengali Rural Ambulance project.

BELGIUM

European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) at the University of Brussels

Collaboration with researchers and professors to support the work on challenges related to the Street Food Project.

DENMARK

With headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark InnoAid has a strong network of partners, donors, and other collaborators based here.

180Degrees Consulting – Copenhagen

180Degrees Consulting have been working on a number of InnoAId´s strategic challenges in their consulting projects.

Podio granted InnoAid a full free sponsorship to use Podio to improve how we organize events, coordinate projects and much more.

Indien Gruppen Fyn (IGF)

Indien Gruppen Fyn is a valued advisor of InnoAid on several projects in India.

Civil Society in Development (CISU)

InnoAid is a member of CISU, an independent association of 260+ Danish Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) with activities in the development countries which objective is to build capacity among Danish CSOs and to support the continuous development of Danish CSO partnerships with partners in the South. CISU also administers the Project Fund on behalf af the Danisk Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Danida), which has provided funding for the Street Food Vendors’ Toolkit project.

Engineers Without Boarders (IUG)

Collaboration have been initiated with the Product Development Group to design and participate in an innovation camp hosted by the consultancy company eye-D. Several campaigns at the universities in Copenhagen have been done in collaboration with the Student Chapter.

eye-D Innovation

Design and facilitation of the INVENT A BETTER WORLD – Ideation Day at eye-D with the participation of various Danish Industries. Challenges presented for the Ideation Day took point of departure in concepts on how to recycle rural waste which is linked to the upcoming WASTE project by InnoAid.

Technical University of Denmark (DTU) Departments of Management, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering

Collaboration with students and professors in specific InnoAid projects as well as a close partnership in addressing the development of academic possibilities for students to get engaged in development challenges.

Aalborg University Copenhagen (AAU) Departments of TechnoAnthropology and Sustainable Design

Academic dissemination of project experience and research undertaken by InnoAid in developing countries and establishment of partnership to initiate collaboration with students and professors in specific InnoAid projects.

Roskilde University (RUC) Departments of Geography & Communication and Environmental, Social & Spatial Change

Collaboration with students and professors in specific InnoAid projects through the formulation and partnership in several Master Thesis.

Copenhagen University, Faculty of Science

Collaboration with students and professors in specific InnoAid projects through the formulation and partnership in several internships.

Rasmus Quistgaard video and photography

Together with the journalist Mathilde Berg Utzon, Rasmus Quistgaard developed two videos for promoting InnoAid and the Street Food Project.

Ulandsforeningen for Bæredygtig Udvikling (UBU)

InnoAid is sharing office facilities in Copenhagen with the NGO UBU or in English “Danish Association for Sustainable Development”.
